There are millions of sites on Islam on the Internet. Unfortunately, although these sites using an Islamic name, it turns out many of its contents are also very misleading.
Head of R & D and HR Depkominfo, Cahyana Ahmadjayadi, revealed that when talking with detikINET between Cyber Culture Seminar at the GSG Salman ITB, Saturday (29/8/2009).

Some of these sites, according to Cahyana packaged in such a way as to give correct information about Islam. But it's just a lot of information, thus creating misleading twisted.

"Look at www.aboutislam.com, or www.thequran.com www.allahassurance.com. Make no mistake, despite its name implies Islamic, these sites are not more of an effort disinformation about Islam," he said.

Cahyana very concerned to see this condition. "In google, the word" Islamic information center "in every 10 pages there were approximately 20,500 links. Therefore, I see this as a challenge for Salman to establish Islamic information center."

Depkominfo echelon I was so hoping, Salman ITB can be a pioneer and a major source to provide information about Islam in full, detailed and reliable.

"I challenged Salman to get into the forefront as a public space to seek and obtain Islamic literature through its website, 'hope that the man who previously served as Director General of Telematics Applications.
